PROJECT School Food Photography

OBJECTIVE
Photographs of mock School Food to help explain to NYC public school students how to choose healthy school lunch with MyPlate and the five food groups.

DESCRIPTION
Using the NYC School Food menu, multiple school meals were created to demonstrate the healthy and tasty options available for NYC public school students. All mock school meals were based around MyPlate and the five food groups. Each meal has one item from each of the five food groups, demonstrating that a balanced diet can be easily constructed.

OBJECTIVE
Create and market product line of hand bound sketchbooks.

DESCRIPTION
love caitlin, an independent design project, features unique journals, sewn and bound by hand. No two journals are exactly alike. The pages of these journals, made with heavyweight stock paper, hand-cut, scored and folded are perfect for keeping secrets, plans and projects. The covers are sturdy, two-ply matboard covered with vibrant, decorative papers or bookcloth.

CookShop

PROJECT Curriculum Design

OBJECTIVE
Curriculum layout and design. Focus on user experience and band cohesion among the multiple program components.

DESCRIPTION
Curriculum design and development for multiple CookShop components. User experience design was based about varying target demographics for each curriculum, while still fitting the unified brand of CookShop and Food Bank For New York City.

Wandernosh

PROJECT Package Design

OBJECTIVE
Create packaging for locally produced lassi drinks.

DESCRIPTION
Existing logo lockup was modified to reinforce cohesive brand architecture. Packing was created for products in the WanderNosh brand including: WanderLassi, WanderMilk and WanderBowls.

Menu Design

PROJECT Menu redesign/rebranding. Rebanding of corporate collateral.

OBJECTIVE
To redesign the menu and integrate with all rebranded corporate collateral to create a cohesive brand.

DESCRIPTION
Created cohesive system of menus to align with company rebanding.

OBJECTIVE
Design, print and assemble graduation announcements for my younger sister’s high school graduation.

DESCRIPTION
Graduation announcements were created based around the visual pun that Brenna stood out among her peers due to her hair color and achievement in becoming valedictorian.

Three Hearts

PROJECT Three Hearts

OBJECTIVE
Create and package a line of handmade toys for cats.

DESCRIPTION
A full brand was created, including a logo, packaging, based around the squid shape and identity and a plush toy. The playful, fun style to the packing, the rounded sans serifs, which connote fun and youthfulness, lend clean, modern lines perfect for light hearted toy packaging.

Create a children’s book to help children learn numbers and counting.

DESCRIPTION
A hardcover set of books was designed, printed on the letterpress, illustrated via pochior stencils and hand stitched.
